Tangerine and Jade Press was founded in celebration of children’s individuality, creativity, and love of learning. At Tangerine and Jade Press, we know that children need to see themselves reflected in the stories they read. That has not always been possible until recently. Tangerine and Jade Press aims to amplify diverse voices, bringing stories from different cultures, backgrounds, experiences, identities, and generations to print. Through storytelling and communication, we know we can be part of creating an inclusive future!

Why did you apply for Project Pop-Up?
I applied for Project: Pop-Up to build a stronger connection with the community and to help share more diverse and meaningful stories that reflect our collective experiences. I’m excited about the opportunity to engage with others, amplify underrepresented voices, and contribute to a more inclusive and vibrant community through storytelling.
