Hui is a Boston-area ceramicist who turned to clay as a way to build things with her hands. Inspired by landscapes, the human body, and the many places she's called home, she hand-builds and hand-paints one-of-a-kind pieces designed to bring a little story—and a little warmth—into everyday life
Why did you apply for Project Pop-Up?
I started my ceramics practice to craft tangible art that brings stories into everyday life. This pop-up is an incredible chance to take my work to the next level—giving me a real-world space to experiment with retail, share my colorful pieces with new audiences, and see how people interact with my work in person. I hope to gain valuable hands-on experience as a small business owner while deepening my ties to the local creative community.
