AIRI Jewelry & Gallery is an artisan-based brand centered on producing handmade jewelry, vibrant art prints, and culture-inspired apparel. We are mostly known for our award-winning wire earrings, thoughtfully designed to be the perfect balance of minimal and modern elegance, with creative features that make for an unforgettable statement. Art is at the heart of AIRI. We are dedicated to inclusivity, and so is our art, with stunning earring collections that cater to all ears; pierced, non-pierced, or sensitive! We also have a gallery of original prints and apparel. All of our work is original and handmade with quality materials that are lightweight, durable, and hypoallergenic. We are a proud woman- and black-owned business.

Founder Maya Alia
A former event planner leaning into a career as an artisan during the pandemic. The self-taught artist was awarded Best of Boston 2023 and Best of Weddings 2024 for her captivatingly contemporary and reflective collective works. She is passionate about creating art that empowers women and helps them connect to their creativity. Maya is a painting instructor, making mindfulness through art accessible to communities of all ages. She is also a writer, photographer, and connoisseur/enthusiast of ‘feel good’ art.
Why did you apply for Project Pop-Up?
Art is at the heart of AIRI, and we want to share that with as many as possible. We center art into everything we do and space we occupy, driven to curate activations that engage and intrigue people of all ages through our handmade wire jewelry, painting sessions, and gallery installs. We are grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response to our artisanal offerings, sharing our work for several years in the Boston area, popping-in and up all around the city. It is a dream to now share we will be stationed in Brookline for the winter season in collaboration with Project Pop Up and brand Candle Lux. This tangible space will capture the essence of AIRI and of course, be the perfect place for more unique jewelry finds and art-infused experiences.
