Calling all Emerging Brands, Artists, Entrepreneurs and Innovators!
UpNext is partnering with the City of Lowell and Barbara Rodriguez Co. to launch a seasonal pop-in opportunity for emerging brands! Project: Pop-Up offers founders with fresh ideas access to premium space to experiment and expand their concepts.
Why a pop-in vs. a pop-up?
If you’re not familiar with it, a pop-in is just a pop-up… within a pop-up! The beauty of pop-ins is that they’re an even simpler, low-stakes way to test your ideas. You're stepping into something that's already running, already has people walking through the door, and already did the hard part for you.
What that actually means for you:
No staffing required. The space is already staffed by the parent pop-up.
Minimal design or buildout. It's ready as is. You're filling a shelf or a room, not building one.
Built-in foot traffic. People are already coming through that door, and now they'll see you too.
Lower inventory needs. You can test a concept with a fraction of the product that a full storefront would require.
If you’re really just starting to test the waters, or want a super low-commitment storefront experience, a pop-in is about as low-risk as brick-and-mortar gets. It's a great way to find out if your concept has legs before committing to anything bigger!
