UpNext is partnering with the City of Gloucester to create a Project: Pop-Up mobile pop-up incubator space next to Oak to Ember for an 8-week-long activation in late spring 2027! Project: Pop-Up offers founders with fresh ideas access to premium space to experiment and expand their concepts. This location is adjacent to Harbor Cove, Gloucester’s working waterfront and a 3-minute walk from Beauport Hotel!
This pop-up will be open during the weekends with a tentative schedule of the following hours:
Friday: 12pm-7pm
Saturday: 12pm-7pm
Sunday: 10am-3pm
Please note: Applications continue to be accepted on a rolling basis, space permitting.

This specific opportunity comes with expansive support for brands including educational opportunities and an operational stipend. Please note this opportunity also includes an additional application process through the City of Gloucester. Selected applicants must meet an income requirement (making no more than the maximum annual income detailed below) and submit paperwork including proof of income and W9 for the activation.

A Launchpad for Gloucester
Project: Pop-Up is returning to Gloucester this fall, activating a mobile pop-up next to Oak to Ember at 9 Rogers St. Brands will have the opportunity to pop up for month-long seasons and be provided access to a suite of resources to help seed their success. This Project: Pop-Up initiative is committed to prioritizing low income, BIPOC, and women entrepreneurs in their path of small business ownership.
Ideal Categories Include:
Independent brands and retailers, artists, makers, packaged food purveyors, galleries and other unique cultural or bespoke experiences. Entrepreneurial and forward-thinking concepts encouraged to apply.
